Capstone Education Society

Since its founding in 1974, the Capstone Education Society has been dedicated to promoting academic excellence among students through nationally recognized teacher and administrator education programs. This goal is met through activities and events sponsored or partially funded by the Society.

CES Annual Events

Through alumni-endowed funds, the Society supports scholarships, including the Capstone Society Scholarship. It supports research activities of faculty through professional development programs, and it recognizes one faculty member each year for academic excellence through the presentation of the Academic Excellence Award. Each year the Society recognizes outstanding alumni with the Outstanding Contributions to Education Awards.
